Well, Make It Enough
This might sound a little janky or even condescending at first, but hear me out:
I’ve come to realize that when a lot of Black women say we want companionship, what they’re really craving is efficient and effective HELP.
We want to be supported. We want access—to ease, to resources, to real opportunity. We want someone to come alongside them, not just to love them, but to lift with them. Because deep down, we know that working together, building together, growing together—that’s the only sustainable way forward.
But here’s the issue:
Far too often, we can’t find romantic partners… HECK or even have parents… who know how to show up in that way.
Not just emotionally, but strategically—to support the vision, the growth, the calling to change the world for the better.
The Hard Truth? We’re Often Left to Figure It Out Alone.
We grow up learning how to be dependable—but we weren’t always in a position to be able to depend on others. That's why so many of us burn out. Not because we’re weak, but because we’ve been out here tryna build liberation while still emotionally babysitting folks who don’t get it.
We want to change the world—but we’re doing it while:
-
Untangling generational trauma
-
Holding space for everybody else
-
And still figuring out how to ask for what we need without guilt
Sis. You are right. You were not created to carry all this alone.
Docked Ships Exists Because You NEED Real Support
We’re not just talking vibes and vision boards over here. Docked Ships is the space where support becomes strategy—where Black women:
-
Access ease without apology
-
Grow with others who “get it” without explanation
-
Win in ways they imagined but never had the right help to make happen
Because Let’s Be Real:
-
Ease is not the opposite of excellence.
-
Access shouldn’t come with hoops to jump through.
-
And you don’t need to shrink or struggle to be worthy of support.
If you’ve ever felt like success came with too many strings attached, or like your needs were too heavy for the people closest to you to hold—Docked Ships is where you come to unpack, unlearn, and unburden.
Come get what you need—without having to perform for it.
Docked Ships is the home for Black women ready to stop surviving and start embodying ease, connection, and joy in ways that actually feel good.
Because you don’t have to do this alone anymore.
You never should’ve had to.
